TEEN PARENT SERVICES

 

Teen Parent Services is a program which helps teen parents to obtain their high school diploma or GED to help them get a better start to their future. 

 

Who is Eligible?

  • Under 19 years and 9 months old
  • Pregnant or have a child
  • Male or female
  • Do not have a HS diploma or GED
  • Currently eligible for WIC, Family Case Management, LINK, medical card, or TANF.

 Requirements?

  • Must attend appropriate school for age or GED classes
  • Meet with TPS Resource nurse monthly

 Benefits?

  • Transportation money
  • School supplies, books and fees paid
  • Parenting classes and information
  • Medical referrals such as family planning, physicians and immunizations
  • Child care information
  • Job related referrals or information
  • Assistance with college preparation

 Hours:  Monday-Friday by appointment
