TEEN PARENT SERVICES
Teen Parent Services is a program which helps teen
parents to obtain their high school diploma or GED to help them get a better
start to their future.
Who is Eligible?
- Under 19 years and 9 months old
- Pregnant or have a child
- Male or female
- Do not have a HS diploma or GED
- Currently eligible for WIC, Family Case Management,
LINK, medical card, or TANF.
Requirements?
- Must attend appropriate school for age or GED classes
- Meet with TPS Resource nurse monthly
Benefits?
- Transportation money
- School supplies, books and fees paid
- Parenting classes and information
- Medical referrals such as family planning, physicians
and immunizations
- Child care information
- Job related referrals or information
- Assistance with college preparation
Hours: Monday-Friday by appointment
