Pandemic Influenza Community Coalition (PICC) 

The PICC was formed in June 2006 as a result of the Pandemic Influenza Contract that the Logan County Health Department (LCHD) received from the Illinois Department of Public Health (IDPH).  LCHD is the lead agency and facilitates all coalition meetings and communication.  PICC members are representatives from the Logan County public and private sectors.  It serves as a steering committee to plan and prepare community organizations and agencies for an influenza pandemic.  The coalition is a collaborative effort between a diverse group of Logan County professionals that utilizes an all-hazards planning approach to enable all coalition members to develop plans that address all possible emergency situations, natural and man-made.
