Family Health Services is divided into four main sections:
Maternal, Child, W.I.C.,
and
Family Case Management.
Maternal Health
- Breastfeeding support and education
Child Health
- Childhood immunizations
- The Illinois Division of Specialized Care for Children
- High Risk infant follow-up
- Car seat program
- TB screenings
- Vision and hearing screenings in schools
- Communicable disease surveillance in schools
- Blood lead level screening and testing
W.I.C.
What Is It?
- W.I.C. is a supplemental food and nutrition education program for pregnant, nursing, and postpartum women, infants, and children to age 5
- This program is designed for lower income families of Logan County who are at nutritional risk
Includes:
- Breastfeeding support and education
- Breastfeeding peer counselor
- Group and individual nutrition education
- Coupons for healthy foods

Family Case Management
Who is Eligible?
- Women, infants, and children
Program Includes:
- Referrals for medical care throughout your pregnancy and delivery
- Visiting nurses
- Individual education and counseling with a nurse
- Referral to community resources
- Family planning counseling after delivery
