Water Well Sealing Information
The "Request for Water Well Sealing Approval by a Property Owner" form must be filled out completely and returned to the local health department for approval before your well is sealed. Once approval has been given, contact the health department at least 48 hours before your planned sealing date to schedule an inspection. The health department will conduct an on-site inspection at the time the well is sealed. The homeowner must be present at the time of the well sealing. Scheduling the inspection will avoid unnecessary delays.
Well sealing inspections are conducted Monday through Friday between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. If you have any questions, you may call the Logan County Health Department at 217-735-2317.
